Types of Psychic Powers

There are many types of psychic powers which make up a grand list of psychic abilities which have been discovered in mankind. Some of these are so common that they have everyday phrases to describe them. Two types of psychic powers are “hunches”, which rely on the ability of intuition, and “he knew what I was thinking”, which is based on Extrasensory Perception, or ESP. Neither of these, as with most types of psychic powers, can be accurately measured with today's scientific instruments, and yet they are so common that we all experience their effects. Other types of psychic powers are less common, but less important in the astral sciences.

Everyone experiences the two types of psychic powers listed above, and many of us are able to use them on a daily basis to aid us in our jobs, hobbies, and personal lives. Detectives rely on intuitive hunches to solve crimes, often achieving mind-boggling feats of deduction by using clues that are not apparent in normal ways. And we have all had experiences where we knew exactly what a person was going to say before they said it, even though there was no rational way we could have known such facts. Modern science attempts to disprove such common happenings as subconscious logic or deduction, but in truth there is simply “no way I could have known that, and I knew it anyway.” With a little consideration, it becomes obvious that we are, in truth, governed by many types of psychic powers.

In their natural, untrained forms, the ordinary types of psychic powers are weak. Without practice and refinement, they display themselves randomly, and are most often attributed to coincidence. But skilled practitioners are quick to point out that coincidence is a tag applied to astral energies manifested in the presence of people who won't or can't understand the fundamental nature of such happenings. For these people, there is no such thing as coincidence, because they have learned an awareness of the underlying types of psychic powers which link all matter in the universe together.

With a little knowledge of the types of psychic powers, a person soon realizes that invisible threads link them to other people, as well as to all other objects, both living and inorganic. Different types of psychic powers, which are invisible to the naked eye, create opportunity and occurrence in mind boggling ways. For people, these types of psychic powers are mystical and magical, even though they form the framework of every event in all of existence. The most talented of mystical operators embrace the various types of psychic powers, and bend them to their own desires.
